Mrs. Alice Bourgeois, 77, of Memramcook East, died Friday (17 mai) at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a lengthy illness.
 Born in St. André, she was a daughter of the late Saul and Zina (Cormier) Richard, and attended Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Eddie Butler (Emélie) of Memramcook Lake, Mrs. Rita LeBlanc and Rosanna, both of Memramcook East, and Mrs. Jacques Boudreau (Emerise) of Barachois; five sons, Antoine, Clovis, Ulysse and Frankie, all of Memramcook East, and Albert of College Bridge; four sisters, Mrs. Delphine Aimée LeBlanc, Mrs. Rita McKenzie and Mrs. Emerise Dupuis, all of Amherst, N.S.: 24 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar; a daughter, Zina; three sisters, Marceline, Léa and Sarah; and two brothers, Tommy and Frank.
The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 7 p.m. at the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
